Forthcoming: After the Last Border (working title) for Viking Press, Fall 2019. This narrative nonfiction book explores two women’s lives, one from Myanmar, one from Burma, after they were resettled a decade apart, and tells the larger history of the refugee resettlement movement in the United States.
